PRAWN WITH CURD RECIPE




Hi! Friends, today i will show you how to cook prawn with curd or doi chingri. It is very popular in Bengal. I think you should try this recipe, it is very delicious. So let’s go..

INGREDIENTS :
  1. Big Size Prawn
  2. Turmeric powder
  3. Salt
  4. Lemon juice
  5. Onion
  6. Ginger
  7. Garlic
  8. Green chilli
  9. Curd
  10. Mustard oil
  11. Water
  12. Skewers
  13. Garam masala
  14. Cumin seeds
  15. Cumin powder

HOW TO MAKE :
  • First marinate the prawn fish with little bit salt, half tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp lemon juice and mix well then a wooden stick pour inside the prawn and keep a side.
  • 1 and a half onion, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, 4 green chilli and make a fine paste. In a bowl add a fine paste, add 2 tsp curd, half tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, half tsp garam masala, salt to taste and mix well all the ingredients then add half cup water and keep a side.
  • Heat a mustard oil in a pan and fry all the prawn fish then keep a side. In a same oil add half tsp cumin seeds and add a mixture then fry all spices at a low flame  then cover the lid at least 6 minutes then add fried prawn fish and again lid it at least 2 minutes. Now its ready to serve with a rice.
