Pabda Macher Jhal ( FISH CURRY)

Hi! friends, today i will show you how to make Pabda macher jhal recipe. This dish is very popular in Bengal and also a very tasty fish item. INGREDIENTS : 1. Fish 2. Turmeric powder 3. Salt 4. Lemon juice 5. Mustard oil 6. Green chilli 7. Potato 8. Red Chilli 9. Bay leaves 10. Dry red chilli 11. Cumin powder 12. Cumin seeds 13. Cardamom 14. Black paper 15. Cinnamon 16. Water 17. Sugar HOW TO MAKE : • First, marinate the fish with 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp lemon juice then mix well and keep aside. • Heat a mustard oil in a pan and fry all fish and keep aside. In the same oil and fry 3 Cardamoms, 2 Cinnamon, 6 black paper then keep aside and make a paste. • In the same oil fry cut potato and add little bit salt and turmeric powder and fry well then keep a side. • Now make a mixture in a bowl 1 tsp cumin powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, half tsp sugar and add little bit water and mix well then keep aside. • In the same oil add 2 bay leaves, 2 dry red chillies, half tsp cumin seeds and fry little then add mixture and fry well at least 3 minutes at a low flame. • After 3 minutes add fry potatoes and mixed well then add little bit water and fry masala at least 5 minutes at a low flame. After 5 minutes add little bit water and again fry all masalas at least 3 minutes. • After 3 minutes add half litter water and lit it at least 6 minutes until the potato soft. • After 6 minutes add fry fish and again lid 2 minutes at a high flame then add a cardamom, cinnamon, and black paper paste.
