BENGALI FAMOUS SWEET DISH CHANAR PAYES
Ingredients
- Milk
- 2 Lemon juice
- 6 Cashew
- Pinch of salt
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1 cup water
HOW
TO MAKE
- In a pot heat milk at a low flame then add lemon juice to make a chana. Then drain a water and add 1 cup of water and also drain this water. Rest this chana atleast 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes in a same bowl put chana and mash it well with your hand to make it smooth ball and keep a side.
- In a another hand a boil milk in a pan and reduce it till it turns off white . cook at least 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes add chana balls and boil 2 minutes. Then add sugar, pinch of salt, and crushed cashew and cook it for another 15 minutes at a low flame.
- After 15 minutes the milk came to a thick and creamy consistency. Then turn off the gas and keep a side to cool.
- Now it is ready to serve.
