CHANA DAL WITH SPINACH(PALAK)







Hi ! friends today i will show you how to make chana dal with spinach. There is variety of recipe with chana dal, but this recipe is very tasty as well as healthy also. So let’s go...
INGREDIENTS :
  1. Chana dal
  2. Spinach
  3. Onion
  4. Ginger
  5. Garlic
  6. Tomato
  7. Green chilli
  8. Turmeric powder
  9. Cumin seeds
  10. Salt
  11. Asafoetida (hing)
  12. Dry red chilli
  13. Sugar

HOW TO MAKE :
  • First dal soaked in water over the night then boiled the dal and keep a side.
  • Next cut all the vegetables in a small piece. Then heat a oil in a pan add 1 tsp cumin seeds and 1 dry red chilli then fry slightly. Add 1 copped onion, 5 chopped garlic, half inch chopped ginger, 1 chopped tomato, 5 chopped green chilli and fry well at least 2 minutes then add spinach  and fry well at least 4 minutes at a high flame.
  • After 4 minutes add salt to taste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, half tsp asafoetida (hing), 1 tsp sugar and mix well and fry all ingredients at least 7 minutes at a high flame.
  • After 7 minutes add boiled dal and mix well and add half cup water and lid it at least 6 minutes at a low flame.
  • Now its ready to serve with paratha, rice etc.
