Gajar Er Halua in bengali style
Hi ! friends, today my special dish is Gajar er halua. It is a carrot-based sweet dessert pudding from the Indian subcontinent. It is a light nutritious dessert with less fat (a minimum of 10.03% and an average of 12.19%) than many other typical South Asian desserts. So let’s go for it..

Ingredients :

  • Carrot
  • Milk maid condense milk
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Milk
  • Ghee
  • Cardamom 

How to make :

  1. First grated 5 carrot in a grater machine and keep a side.
  2. Heat a 5 tsp ghee in a pan and add 3 cardamom  then add grated carrot and fry well at least 15 minutes at a low flame.
  3. After 15 minutes add 1 cup milk maid and again fry well at least 5 minutes at a low flame.
  4. After 5 minutes add 1 cup sugar and pinch of salt then again mix and fry at least 15 minutes at a low flame.
  5. After 15 minutes add 1 litre milk and mix well at least 8 minutes at a low flame. Now its ready to serve.
