Kumro Chingri In Bengali Style








Hi ! friends, today i will show you how to make Kumro chingri in bengali style. This menu is also famous in bengali culture.
Ingredients :
  1. Prawn fish
  2. Pumpkin
  3. Potato
  4. Green chilli
  5. Peas
  6. Red dry chilli
  7. Bay leaves
  8. Cumin seeds
  9. Cumin powder
  10. Salt
  11. Sugar
  12. Turmeric powder
  13. Water
  14. Mustard oil

HOW TO MAKE :
  • First marinate the prawn fish with half tsp turmeric powder, half tsp salt  and keep a side.
  • Heat a mustard oil in a pan and fry all prawn fish and keep a side. In a same oil add 1 tsp cumin seeds ,2 red dry chilli, 2 bay leaves and fry slightly then add pumpkin slices, potato slices, green chilli and fry a well at least 4 minutes at a high flame.
  • After 4 minutes then add 1 and a half tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp sugar, and salt to taste  then fry all ingredients at least 1 minutes .
  • After 1 minutes add 2 cup of water and add peas then mix it well and lid it at least 8 minutes at a high flame.
  • After 8 minutes add fry prawn and again lid it atleast 2 minutes. Now its ready to serve  with rice and  roti.
