RAW JACK FRUIT WITH PRAWN / ECHOR CHINGRI




Hi! Friends today my menu is bengali famous recipe echor chingri. This is one of my favourite recipe so that’s why I am share this recipe with you.

INGREDIENTS :

  1. Jack fruit
  2. Prawn fish
  3. Potato
  4. Onion
  5. Ginger
  6. Garlic
  7. Green chilli
  8. Coriander leaves
  9. Cardamom
  10. Cinnamon
  11. cloves
  12. Cumin seeds
  13. Turmeric powder
  14. Salt
  15. Sugar
  16. Cumin powder
  17. Garam masala powder
  18. Mustard oil
  19. Water

HOW  TO  MAKE :

  • first marinate the fish with little bit salt and turmeric powder and keep a side.
  • Another  side  2 onion, 7 garlic cloves, half inch ginger make a fine paste in a grinder.
  • Now heat a mustard oil in a pan and fry all prawn fish and keep a side.
  • In a same oil add 2 cinnamon, 2 cardamom, 3 clovea, 1 tsp cumin seeds fry little bit then add cut potato  and fry un till the golden brown. After that add boiled raw jack fruit and fry well at least 5 minutes at a high flame.
  • After 5 minutes add a fine paste and mix well then add some spices 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 and a half tsp sugar, 1 tsp garam masala and salt to taste mix well with all masalas at least 6 minutes at a high flame.
  • After 6 minutes add little bit water and lid it 10 minutes at a low flame.
  • After 10 minutes add half liter water and again lid it 5 minutes at a medium flame.
  • After 5 minutes add fry prawn fish and lid it again another 2 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes add coriander leaves and its ready to eat with a rice.
