Shankar
macher jhal is very popular dish in Bengal. Very delicious dish, I request you

Ingredients:
- Shankar mach
- Turmeric powder
- Salt
- Lemon Juice
- Cumin Powder
- Garam Masala Powder.
- Cumin Seeds
- Bay leaves
- 2 dry red chili
- Onion
- Tomato
- Green chili
- Mustard oil
How to make :
- At first marinate the fish with turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice. Then heat oil in a pan and fry the fish well and keep aside.
- Take a small bowl and add one tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste and add 6-7 tsp water and mix well and make this mixture.
- In the same oil add 2 bay leaves, 2 dry red chili and cumin seed, fry well then add 1 and half chopped onion and fry well until they turned into golden brown. Then add tomato and fry again well until they soft, then add the spice mixture and fry well. Then add half cup of water and lid it at least 6 min at a low flame.
- After 6 min add fried fish and mixed well, then again lid at least 5 min.
- Heat a another pan and add 2 tsp oil and add green chili, then add this oil into the fish curry. Now it is ready to serve with rice.
